ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Conference will take place from 13th to 15th May 2025 at the City Castle in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The agenda will cover key aspects of crisis management, including prevention and mitigation—such as urban planning and policy development—as well as response and recovery—the establishment and management of emergency mass shelters, temporary shelters, and permanent re-housing. These topics will be explored through real-life case studies and expert presentations. Given the increasing frequency and complexity of natural and human-made disasters, as well as armed conflicts, such measures are essential for enhancing resilience and ensuring long-term recovery.
